Overview
It is the Gili Falaj in Wadi Halfin in the Wilayat of Izki. Its construction dates back to the 12th century AD, according to a study carried out by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture (formerly), and aims to exploit the waters of Wadi Halfin for agriculture during the rule of the Nabahna family. The Falaj tank is one of the largest water collection tanks in the Sultanate.
