Overview
Rustaq Fort is located at the foot of the Green Mountain on the edge of the Al Batinah Plain in the Wilayat of Rustaq in the Al Batinah South Governorate. The castle was first built on Persian ruins around 1250 AD, but the current majestic building was rebuilt by the first Ya’rubi imams.
