One of the most prominent fortifications of the Wilayat. It is also called the Old Fort. It is located in the village of Al-Bilad. It is distinguished by its height, which reaches six floors. It was named by this name in relation to one of the well-known scholars in the state, Sheikh Nejad bin Musa. It is surrounded by a wall to protect it in addition to a number of watch and guard towers. Al-Jiss Tower is one of the most famous historical monuments, and it can be seen from a distance, especially those coming from the eastern side of the state.
