Overview
The dam is equipped with a large concrete spillway to drain the excess water into the calming basin, which in turn passes it to the wadi stream to flow naturally into the main wadi stream. The storage capacity of the dam is 700,000 cubic metres. The dam's water is utilized through the water collected in the dam's lake to feed the aquifer.
