Overview
The Al-Falaj site is surrounded by a number of archaeological and historical monuments, the most important of which is Rustaq Fort. This falaj was added to the World Heritage List in 2006, along with four other falajs. The total length of its channels is 5783m. It is characterized by its continuous flow as two different wadis composed of sedimentary layers feed it. The falaj water flow is 210 liters/second.
